DDIM (Disability and Diversity In Music)

DDIM is an initiative set up by The School Of Music in order to provide everybody, regardless of disability or other restrictions such as hospitals, prisons and money the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.

Whats on offer?

  • All abilities welcome
  • First session FREE
  • Experienced and CRB checked tutors
  • Fun and motivational lesson format
  • Private and Group tuition
  • Structured to meet the students needs
  • No instrument? No problem, use ours

The School of Music is unique because they can meet the needs of students that other music tutors cannot, and also because no other music tutors or companies directly offer this kind of service.

This is because The School of Music works directly with the national organisations whom represent each disability or group in order to ensure that they understand each of their students and their individual needs and therefore providing the best possible service and enabling them to successfully adapt the lessons to make them enjoyable and accessible to everyone.

All our tutors are excellent and experienced musicians, CRB checked and with a professional approach to teaching. They give fun and motivating lessons and share the enthusiasm of the student to help them to reach their musical goals.
