New Forest Equine Massage is a therapeutic service for horses, people and dogs.

Massage promotes the health, wellbeing and suppleness of the horse especially and can improve performance. The service is available throughout Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the surrounding counties as well as the
Isle of Wight.

Equine Massage

All horses can benefit from an Equine Sports Massage treatment.  This can range from the family pony to top quality competition horses in any sphere.  It can reduce the chance of injury and speed up the healing process after an injury has occured.  It can also relieve the building of muscular tension and stiffness in a horse when they are on box rest.

Indications your horse may benefit from a Sports Massage:

• Unexpected change in behaviour
• Unexplained deterioration in performance
• Irregular gait
• Reluctance to work
• Asymmetry in motion
• Uneven muscle development or atrophy
• Cold backed or irritable when tacking up
• Uneven shoe wear

Canine Massage

Massage is not just for humans and horses.  Many animals benefit also benefit from massage therapy such as dogs and even cows.

Dogs often suffer with the following problems:

• Lameness or back problems
• Difficulty in jumping or getting up and down
• Loss of performance (relevant to agility/working dogs)
• Unhapiness or reluctance to play
• It is relaxing as well as therapeutic

Human Sports & Remedial Massage

Anyone who exercises and uses their muscles through movement such as running, cycling, hiking, swimming, dancing, tennis and other racquet sports, strength training and aeriobics can benefit from massage.  There are others who can also benefit, for example mothers with small children, gardeners, those who use their boies strenuously in their work and even office workers for which posture can be a problem.

I qualified with the LSSM with a Level 5 Diploma and have knowledge in soft tissue release and muscle energy techniques. I presently work from a clinic in Ringwood and a clinic in Cadnam. I am also available for mobile work.
