Kittymead Joinery is a family business established in 1969 providing quality bespoke carpentry and joinery services in the Bristol, Bath and surrounding area.

Our skilled craftsmen use traditional methods to make both classic and modern pieces. We provide for both trade and domestic customers and are committed to producing well crafted and high quality products.

We carry out all types of work, both large and small, from domestic to trade and commercial. Previous larger project clients include local schools and council authorities.

Products and Services

We specialise in a wide range of bespoke joinery which ranges from simple machined timber sections to staircases. However, as we are a bespoke company, we are able to make anything out of wood as required.

We have access to a wide range of hardwoods, softwoods and green timbers such as green oak. We can advise on the best type of timber to suit your needs. Wherever possible our timber is sourced from properly managed and sustainable sources.

Here are just some of the services we provide:

Stairs
We can construct stairs in any size or shape in both softwood and hardwood. Stairs can incorporate turned newel posts, spindles and handrails. We also offer a replacement and matching service.
Windows, doors & frames
We make both contemporary and traditional style windows, doors and frames to suit all types of buildings (including listed buildings). If applicable, we can supply any type of glass through our glazing service.
Mouldings & machined timber sections
We have access to a large number of standard mouldings but we can also cater for individualised designs. Our machines also allow us to produce customised timber sections.
Turning
Our turning service means we can match existing turnings as well as create unique designs.
Furniture
We are able to manufacture any piece of furniture desired, please contact us to discuss specific designs
Timber structures
Our craftsmen can create a wide range of timber structures including car ports and roof/garden structures. These are normally constructed using green timber e.g. green oak.
